Welcome. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of happinesslwr.com and the in-person and online activities of Happiness Circle™ (collectively, the "Services"). The Services are operated by Happiness Circle, an independent community based in Lakewood Ranch, Florida ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Who we are
Happiness Circle™ is an independent community founded and facilitated by the founder of the Happiness Leadership Institute. Happiness Circle and the Happiness Leadership Institute are separate initiatives; nothing on this site should be read as legally binding one on the other. "Happiness Circle" is an unregistered common-law trademark used in commerce; the ™ symbol reflects that claim and does not indicate federal or Florida registration.
Educational purpose, not professional advice
Happiness Circle™ is a community based in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, dedicated to helping people flourish through meaningful connection, personal growth, and lifelong learning. The information shared through our website, gatherings, newsletters, podcasts, retreats, workshops, and other programs is provided for educational, inspirational, and informational purposes only. It is not intended as medical, psychological, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional advice and should not replace consultation with qualified professionals. Participation in our programs is voluntary, and each individual is responsible for their own decisions, actions, and well-being.
You further acknowledge and agree that:
- Results are not guaranteed. Personal growth outcomes vary and depend on many factors outside our control.
- You are solely responsible for your own choices, actions, and well-being before, during, and after participating in any program.
- We do not provide therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or medical treatment of any kind.
- No therapist-client, coach-client (in a licensed sense), or healthcare-provider relationship is created by your use of the Services or participation in any gathering, retreat, or program.
- Our work is offered as education, coaching for personal development, and community, not as licensed mental-health care in any jurisdiction.

In-person gatherings
Attendance at any in-person gathering is voluntary and at your own risk. You are responsible for your own health, safety, and wellbeing at the venue and while traveling to and from it. By attending, you agree to conduct yourself respectfully toward other attendees, the facilitator, and the venue. We reserve the right to decline or end participation for anyone whose conduct disrupts the gathering.
Confidentiality of the circle
Personal stories shared at Happiness Circle gatherings are shared in confidence. By participating you agree not to identify other participants or repeat their personal stories outside the circle.
Photos, recordings, and livestream
Gatherings may be photographed, recorded, or livestreamed (including on Skool). If you attend and do not wish to appear in photos or recordings, please tell the facilitator before the gathering begins.
Newsletter, promotions, and paid offerings
When you subscribe to our newsletter or join the club, you consent to receive emails from us that include news, event invitations, and promotional offers for Happiness Circle gatherings, retreats, workshops, and other paid programs offered by the founder or by partners of Happiness Circle (including, from time to time, programs of the Happiness Leadership Institute). Prices, dates, capacity, and cancellation terms for any paid retreat, workshop, or program are governed by the booking terms provided at the point of purchase and are not part of these Terms. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email, in accordance with the federal CAN-SPAM Act.
Intellectual property
All text, graphics, images, logos, audio, video, and other content on the Services are owned by Happiness Circle or its licensors and are protected by U.S. copyright and other laws. You may view and share this content for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works for commercial use without our prior written permission.
Third-party links and platforms
The Services link to third-party platforms including Skool, Spotify, Instagram, and Facebook. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those platforms. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR RESULT.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY FLORIDA AND UNITED STATES LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL HAPPINESS CIRCLE, ITS FOUNDER, FACILITATORS, VOLUNTEERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Manatee County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
